No One Cares...

Today it is how I am feeling. I was doing laundry, and thinking about the political events of this past week. My mind is swelling and feels foggy from it all.
I was standing in our dinning room and Senior was browsing the DRUDGE REPORT. And he told me about this headline :  "Obamas Abuse of Power".
 I looked at him stone faced and said " What difference does it make, no one cares anymore".
Frankly he has been abusing power since his first immaculation. So why should one more time matter. The MSM sure isn't going to grill him over this. His Buddy Beyonce and Jay-Z aren't going to stop bowing and kissing his ring because of it.

The realization and why I said that  hit me during Hillary's testimony on the hill this week. months of waiting, and out of all the questions she faced, only three Senator's were tough on her. All you heard time and time again was how wonderful she was, how great she looks, and how she will be missed.
I knew then that no one cares.  An ambassador killed, along with three other brave Americans,
The families are still left with out answers, they are left with the  void and pain of losing a loved one so violently. I watched her testimony, and not one person talked of the way they died. Some one should have shoved pictures in her face, but instead they were praising her.   And when she raised her voice, threw up her arms and yelled "What difference does it make" . Some one should have got in her face, and told her to tell that to the families. It disgusted me that she got away with that line. I hope it will be something to come back to haunt her, but again--I doubt it. No one will care.

Now Di-Fi and her ban on assault weapons,  the focus is taken back off Benghazi. And off the hostages killed in Africa...How convenient. 
John Kerry is seated before the Senate for his confirmation hearings, and no one asked anything tough. It was a joke. Why even have the hearings?


SciFiChick has some good quotes in the gadgets of her blog. But none that is more fitting then this one: "If Your Not Outraged, Then You're Not Paying Attention".
How appropriate for the events of this week. How fitting for my mood today.
