It's flooding here, has been since Friday evening with no let up. The county emergency management center called us at the house today and told us the bridge over the creek that we use to get to town has washed out under one end, and no one can use it til the county engineer inspects it. The only other way out is a road through the national forest, and you have to ford two creeks to use it. Out of the question. Good thing I have nowhere I need to go.
Oh no Harry..that's so bad. My Aunt is at ground zero in Charleston, she lives a block over from the ocean in Folly Bch. The bottom portion of her home is flooded, and her water pump went out...fortunately a neighbor has helped her. You guys need anything over there let me know....we will help you any way we can. Prayers for everyone in the path of all this rain...its been really bad.
