I know its been a couple of days since I have posted. Sorry. Things happen...Life happens. You all know how it is...
Senior and I had a very large mulch job to do for a client, then I had a bit of the whole bronchitis thing for a couple of days.
Sunday he leaves for South Carolina..his dad is have an out patient surgery done.
So it will be me and the boys for a few days. But we will be busy. Due to extra company for Thanksgiving, every one is coming to our house. I really don't mind it, I love to entertain. The guys will go out in to the sun room to watch football, and we girls will sit in the living room, gossipping and going through black friday sale ads.
My brother is coming this year with a new lady friend. I have talked to her a few times, and she is a FB friend. She is from Baton Rouge, LA and I like her. Which worries me..when ever our family likes a girl he brings home, he ends up breaking off the relationship-my brother has fears when we actually get a long with people
I discovered the coolest thing on FB. Virtual garage sales. I sold the christmas tree I found by a curb on there. Now I am constantly on the site, and looking around now through the house a what all I can post for sale.
New safe is here. its big. But I like it. More safety features then our previous one. Now I need to sell the previous one.... : )
Weather here is crummy, suppose to be like this till at least Sunday. Lots of clouds, infrequent misty rain. I know the sun is up there some where. Havent seen it in days. But I do love this weather...makes it feel more seasonal and fall out. Of course and just in time for Thanksgiving, it will warm up and we will probably be wearing shorts and flip flops that day..

DeleteI did hear those FB virtual garage sales were very popular to participate in. Sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving you have planned with family and friends. I always think its fun to go through the sales papers for Black Friday on Thanksgiving. Sort of a tradition to get into the Christmas spirit (not that I go shopping on Black Friday).

Instead of selling the other safe could you use it for storage of other items, other then using it as Seniors dog House...;)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a FB page so, I had not heard of the garage sales! I would love that! I sell on ebay regularly and I do sell on Craigslist from time to time.
ReplyDeleteIt is warm here as well. You must live somewhat close to me. :) I would prefer some cooler weather for this time of year. I'm wearing capris, short sleeve shirt and flip flops today.
We need a large safe. We'll probably wait until after our move to get one.
Hubby heard that some people were buying old buses and burying them to use as bunkers...interesting.
I love looking at the ads for Black Friday, it's a must! I may go out just to take photos. lol
