boys and mud

"The world is mud-licious
and
puddle -wonderful"
 - ee cummings

What is it about dirt and water that draws a boy in ? They see a puddle and simply can't help themselves. They must throw rocks and watch the water splash. They must try to build some sort of fort and a moat and slay dragons.   The lure of mud is better then any toy you can give them.  I love to watch them outside playing, the imaginative things they create and to stand back and do all the wonderful things that makes them "boys"

  4. JUGM,

Boys are just attracted to mud......I hope you have a mudroom where the boys can take off their shoes/boots before heading through the rest of your house :-)

Your boys are young, just wait until they hit the age of 18 and older......then the attraction becomes big trucks, mud, and girls.....lol

Love to you, Senior, and your Boys

  5. I used to like to find big puddles and put my fleet of model ships in them. Puddles are great playgrounds.

  6. I know what they can get for Christmas..... knee high rubber boots and a rubber boot tray for them to set them in. But they sure do look like they're having fun.

Now all you need is a stock tank that will double as a swimmin' hole in the summer. :-)
