Today is the day that yours truly turns another year older...42..ouch! Yes, Valentines Day is also my Birthday. Some of you will still call me a baby..I know, its only as old as you feel. Or, like my brother told me, 42 is the new 25.
I knew from the beginning I wanted to go to my range today, I have not shot my 9 since before my surgery, and I soon realized that my hand is still a bit weak. I think I need to buy one of those squeezy balls and exercise the muscles. Anyways it was good to load her up and let off about 50 rounds. God knows I LOVE this gun....
I also choose to take along my "Archangel" Ruger 10/22. I can't talk enough about how much I love this one too. Its a hell of a lot of fun to shoot. Some days I can't get enough of it.
Senior had the itch to shoot .308 today so he brought along his M1A and the HK91 Clone, he shot 20 rounds through each with a 97.5% probability of hitting the 5 point bowling pin. He was excited to show the locals who go in with their Mini-14s what a real rifle looks and sounds like. : )
