Happy 16 Trillion Day

Today is the day, that the DNC starts is show in Charlotte. A town Senior and I both know all too well. The roads are horrible, traffic is a nightmare.Who ever planned out the streets, did not have the foresight that the city would grow as much as it did and become so populated. I shudder at the thought of all the backups do to road closures.

As tonight when Michelle O takes the stage to tell Americans why we should re-elect her husband Our national debt is projected to hit 16 trillion dollars....  yes folks...that is 16 with a bunch of zeros behind it. Just say it over and over and see how it sounds..Watch it for yourself on the Debt Clock
If you went out today and started spending one dollar every second, it would take you 31,000 years to spend A trillion...and take you more then half a million years to spend 16 trillion.
But while that number is staggering enough, the total US Debt is well over 56 trillion-which is a number you seldom hear about.
No president from the time of George Washington, all the way up to George W. Bush has accumulated so much debt as this one person has in the past four years. He is outdoing all these presidents in just one term--what a horror story!

By the year 2045, which is just 33 short years away, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Obama Subsidies will devour tax revenue. Entitlement spending is all ready drowning out important constitutional functions such as defense spending.
And yet, I get sickened with the swelling crowds at his campaign events, and all those people I see buying back in to the same line of Hope and Change that he spoke of in 2008, how many people are out there that are going to be fooled again in to believing that things will get better for our Country.
Obama has had 4 years to turn it around, if he couldn't do it in that time, what makes me think he can do it in the next four years?

When I look at my two boys who are ages 7 and 6, I worry.  We have an administration that does not care about the future of American Children, The President like so many other politicians are blinded by self ambition. What they are doing to our kids and the future they are leaving this generation is nothing short of abuse. I watch them sleep and wonder what kind of country will America be in 2045?
