The word "more" is an understatement, it was tons. If Senior and I could figure out a way to sell them by the gross ton, we would be Gazillionaires..
When we do leaves, it is several hours of Senior on his mower with the bagger, dumping them in the ATV trailer and me hauling them off to the woods. Bagging them is not an option, besides, they don't make enough to handle all the leaves around here.
This is the mother of all oak trees. I couldn't begin to imagine the age of the ole girl. But she stands magnificantly over the property:
There are atleast 15-25 trees in and around the house, so we worked and raked piles around them. Makes for a nice view along our driveway as people come in.
And right when you think you are about done:

More leaves..
*SIGH*
If there is any consolation...at least we are not up in Buffalo, NY. those poor folks wish leaves was their only problem.. Prayers fot them.
