St. Louis Honors Iraqi War Veterans

I log on to the PC this morning and The Drudge Report (our home page) loads. I see a story about St. Louis Holding the first in the Nation “Welcome Home Parade” for Iraqi war vets…  BRAVO ZULU to you St. Louis!  Thank you for honoring our vets in such an awesome display.

The event was born out of a conversation between friends, two men that never served in the military but got together and wanted to honor our men and women. 

As the effort and word of the parade grew, Vets and organizations from around the country all submitted entries to get involved. Even the famed Budweiser Clydesdales were there in the parade and honoring our troops. An estimated 100,00 spectators turned out yesterday with signs and flags to pay tribute.

 Mayor Bloomberg of NYC was asked about a parade honoring our troops, he declined stating that we still have troops in harms way, and it wouldn’t be appropriate at this time.
