Last day of school for us. My morning was the last peaceful one for at least the next 10 weeks. As of 11am, Senior and I are now the parents of a 2nd and 3rd grader. Not only is "where did time go"? "but what the heck happened to this year"? it all seems like one big blurr now.
The report cards were better then expected with NW getting all A's. and ND getting A's and B's.
We couldn't have been more prouder. And I rewarded them for the hard work they put in all year. They really did deserve a little something for it.
No Alarm clocks blaring at 530, the joys of staying up late and sleeping in are upon us all. Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. And of course the Beach..
Baseball has wound down, and things will become slow for us. They both hope to play in the fall, and have even asked about summer baseball camps at two of the local colleges.
We do plan frequent trips throughout the summer up to South Carolina. The boys love their grandfathers property, and look forward to some shooting, and catching lightning bugs.
Summer also promises to be hot...our State is about to start the Zimmerman case, and with all the drama in Washington these next few months should prove interesting.

With all the evidence that has come out about Martin along with the facts regarding how the MSM manipulated evidence, it just astounds me that the state continues to prosecute this case.
ReplyDeleteI have to conclude that this is being pursued only to please certain minority groups at the expense of Zimmerman's rights.
Yay for NW and ND! Grandson has another week and two days. They must have started later here than your boys. He was supposed to spend the weekend with us but we got trumped by Mickey Mouse. Daughters SO got tickets and hotel to

MATT: Yesterday the Defense released more evidence of pictures taken off Martins Cell phone. One was he had a semi auto handgun, one of him growing marijuana, and another of him doing obscene sign language. Of course the prosecution said its irrelevant to the case.. But it shows he is not that good little boy BO made him out to be.
ReplyDeleteYes, Agreed that its only to satisfy minorities, thankfully we are not in that area of the state..I am afraid if a Not Guilty comes back, it will erupt down there.
MAMA: Our schools started Aug. 8th. I hope they enjoy Disney. We try to stay clear of that place in the summer months.. May treat the kids to the Nickelodeon hotel and water park though for birthdays... way cheaper! lol
