While every one is talking about James Gandolfini passing away suddenly today. Another famed person lost his two year battle with prostrate cancer., one of my favorite writers Vince Flynn.
He was a hero for Conservatives, and wrote the "Mitch Rapp" series of terrorism thrillers.
Vince was one of George W. Bushes favorite writers. One of my favorite stories was of when Bush was in MN he asked Vince to ride with him in the Presidential limo. Vince told Hannity once how Mr. Bush complimented his writing, but wondered how he got all that information for his Novels. He went on to say that it kind of made him nervous and he was afraid he might get detained...but Bush was so comical about it all..
Prayers for his family and those close friends who knew him best. All we can hope is that they start making his books in to movies, and the actors do them justice.

ReplyDeleteI only read a few of the Mitch Rapp Series, but really enjoyed them. he was on Hannity a lot and that is where I grew to learn more of him and his conservative views.
