Saw this report the other day which opened up a discussion between Senior and I about all the extreme cold weather, and the fact that any and all global warming theories have been shattered.
Did you know the sun shifts polarity every 11 years ? And 2013 meant the end of the most recent solar cycle and polarity shift. This shift has sent a tidal wave of ripples through out our solar system.

Solar cycle 24 ended and with that started the cold weather extremities, even some of the worlds most noted scientists are starting to back track on the global warming issue and some are even saying that we could be headed towards a lengthy period of global cooling:

Another fact is in 2007 scientist predicted the arctic ice sheet would disappear by 2013, well not only did it NOT disappear, it actually grew.
So are solar cycles and the and global temperatures related? I am not exactly sure, but It does make for a good argument and it would seem logical at least to me, that if the moon affects our tides, then why wouldn't the sun's cycles affect our weather.

Global warming should be classified as a new religion, there is still a lot of money to be made from the movement and the true believers get down right hateful if anyone suggests anything different.
ReplyDeletenot just as a new religion but as a "cult" because the issue has an almost cult like following. It is another one of those things that some one in the hierarchy said and the rest believed without looking at any sort of definitive evidence...
DeleteIt would have to be the sun and the solar cycles. I cannot think of any other thing that could influence such warming and cooling cycles on the planet than the sun. We have constantly gone through these warming and then cooling periods. In fact our very society owes itself to a warming period that allowed it to grow. Climate change due to human involvement is the epitome of arrogance.
ReplyDeleteWhile researching this post, i read that as well in the 1920s the ice sheet shrunk to then record levels, but by 1939 had recovered.
DeleteProof postive that every thing has a cycle.
Just look at this past seasons atlantic hurricane cycle..it was virtually null.
Thinking that the sun can shift poles is mind blowing, I would have never guessed that, what people need to worry about is that if the sun can shift poles, why couldnt earth. Imagine tropical weather around Canada, and Arctic conditions here??.....
Years ago 25 miles from me used to be Satsuma orange groves. They all eventually died out to the cold. Closer to the water from here you can grow oranges, grapefruit and lemons if you are fortunate enough to have a micro climate in your yard and then having fruit is very sporadic. Yep...this global warming crap has made Gore a very rich man. I thought it funny that the crew on the ship studying climate change had to be rescued from the ice. I think the good Lord is trying to tell them something!
ReplyDeleteGore is no where to be seen right now, It is like back a few years ago when they had the conference for global warming in MN, and it was cancelled because of blizzard conditions...lol
DeleteFruit tree depletion is happening every where...the cost of oranges, and every thing associated with it is going to sky rocket.
JugM,
ReplyDeleteThe cycles changing with the moon and sun sounds good to me!!!
I also believe it's the periodic cleansing process.
Just like fire cleanses the ground, so is this. every thing in life comes in cycles...weather is no dfferent despite what the global warming cult wants us to believe.
Deleteand just how much carbon footprinting has BO put out with his trips back and forth to Hawaii.. now, michelle is staying for her Bday, while he heads backs to D.C. What a waste !
A total waste, and we are paying for it.
DeleteYes Al Gore is in hiding. He was spotted sipping cool drinks in the tropics. Why where else would he be. It is clear to us here in MN this week that the ICE AGE has returned and that's no cartoon.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do a search of nasa pics of what the US looks like right now with 1/2 of it covered in snow...
DeleteI think ole Al is laid up in bora bora with a polynesian honey
Good food for thought.
ReplyDeleteYes K it sure is.... lots to make a person think.
DeleteI never followed all the different rationales for the weather changing, but solar cycles would make sense. One thing I do know, this winter is a good old fashioned one, making it harder to live day by day and costing a lot more money for fuel and supplies. When I wished for a cold winter this past summer, I did not have this in mind.
ReplyDeleteYou know I knew when we had a void hurricane season that this winter would be rough , then I read it in the Farmers Almanac.
DeleteBut when I saw the sun changing polarities...that is when the light bulb went off...makes perfect sense. With the economy the way it is..yes a lot of people are going to hurt from this weather.
