For the record, I am not a person in favor of rape. And I am
not supporting rape by writing this post. I do believe there are women out there who are legitimate victims, and then there are those who abuse term, and cry wolf.
POTUS said in his speech that 1 and 5 women on campuses get
sexually assaulted. I would like to know what his definition of that is. And
how does he actually know how many numbers and where did he get his stats from?
If it is wide enough to attain those
numbers then how many men can equally say that they have been assaulted by
women?
It is in this writer’s view that the administration has no
business sticking its nose into issues on college campuses. That should be left
up to State and Local authorities. I feel this is just another campaign, and its
sole purpose is to take the heat off of the other more important issues that is
plaguing his term in office. And since he has done such a stellar job with
health care will this be run the same way?
While POTUS is worried about this, where is his concern and
task force on the amount of assaults in the military?
Mr. President if you really want to address the issue and stop rape on campuses, then allow students at their discretion to unrestricted open carry. Then you would
be solving two problems:
- Reducing the number of rapes
- Ridding the world of true dirt bags.
If you really want to reduce the number of assaults, then
students need to start focusing on more moral issues, and less of the partying ( as much of these cases seem to happen after a drunken night out) If that were to happen then their education might lead to something more then a
useless degree in sociology, where they will end up having to live in the
basement of mom and dads house until they are 38.
