Little bit of this..and a little bit of that...

So, I had coffee in hand and decided to give my blog an extreme makeover-christmas edition.
it was a pain trying to figure everything out. But I think its done.... I like the transparent back ground so you can see Santa's dirty laundry.

If you have little ones like Senior and I do, here are a couple of good Christmas links to help get them excited :
SANTAS OFFICIAL REINDEER CAM
PORTABLE NORTH POLE

Our elf was up to his old tricks last night. He took a dry erase marker and made silly faces on the boys school pictures. Thankfully they are in a frame, and the ink wipes off...but seriously Herman? I thought with the soldiers yesterday he would have learned a lesson...but I guess not.

I have been selling older toys that the boys no longer play with on a facebook page called "virtual yard sale".  Been doing pretty good as long as I can put up with the BS I get in regards to meeting some of these people.
My point is , I am really seeing how hard the economy is on people. It is making me sad, but yet happy that I know that our gently used toys, will be given a second chance by another child.
I am selling old toys, in order to clean things out and make room for new things. But a lot of the people I am meeting, are selling so they can get money to afford a Christmas for their kids.My county went red in the past two presidential elections, these are good hard working country rednecks. So, I do feel for them, they love their families and kids and want the best for them, even if its second hand.
So much hurt is going on, so many hard times..  But yet, I have to keep my head about it and remember that the majority voted for it.. and now they own it.

Okay, on to something more light hearted..I have a new Favorite Show : DUCK DYNASTY!  Oh my Lord is it funny. I am trying hard to get Senior in to , but he loves his "Moonshiners"  If you haven't watched it please do...Really good show, that has very little in the way of profanity if any, my boys love it too...  so check it out on A&E Wednesdays at 10pm. But they show old episodes prior to 10 so you can get caught up.
and a little FYI about the Dad Phil Robertson, he was the starting QB at one time for Louisiana Tech. and do you know who is back up was?  yep!  Terry Bradshaw

  1. I believe it's important for the blue voters to experience the consequences of their vote.

Sounds harsh, I know, but that's how I feel.

    1. It is very important, all elections have consequences and no its not harsh, because i feel the same way. Sometimes when i see a BO bumper sticker on a car, i just want to put gum under their car door handle or something...

    2. Yea I concur..other people though it seemed a bit staged as well. Especially the childrens Christmas party. And When exactly did they film it, couldn't have been very recent.

  5. Looks good! And I know I'm preaching to the choir, but be careful when you meet people- Public places and all that (and a weapon in the purse doesn't hurt)!

    1. Oh I know! Trust me, the Glock is right next to me every time I meet someone. But I do think my days are over for now. I am tired of waiting around for people who are always running late...

  6. Love your blog look!! I have heard people have success on FB Virtual garage sales; good that you were able to clear out some things and help others give their kids a bit of a Christmas! I think a lot of people are going to be surprised in the days ahead when they realize the impact of their vote this past November; I'll have to bite my tongue and try not to say "told you".

Your elf is certainly a character!! He's certainly providing great blog stories that I've enjoyed reading!
