I saw this picture on DRUDGE. And as an American it brings out my rage. Hundreds of thousands of our men and women in uniform have died defending our precious flag, and defending the right of these protesters, to be able to live in a free country so that they can protest. And how do they pay them back? They trounce across this nations symbol. In our local news a man was fired for wearing the American Flag pin to work, they said it went against the companys dress code,What has happend in this country to the pride we had after 9/11 when for weeks you couldnt find an American Flag to buy.All the stores were sold out and flag makers couldnt make them fast enough. Everywhere I went, businesses and homes were proudly flying our "Colors" now its down to this...walking across it like its someones dirty door mat.Say what they want about the Tea Party..but NO Tea Partier EVER did this.

I saw the story about the flag pin, It was down here in Fla. Up around Jacksonville. Kind off pissed me off. I support the guy who would not take it off. I bet if it was other than an American pin it would have been OK.
ReplyDeletethe protesters are not getting this part right at all...the USA didn't tank the economy, idiots did and the USA is suffering because of it.
ReplyDeletei agree with you, your flag is a symbol especially to all who have served. it should be respected.. it ALLOWS the freedom to protest in the first place!
THIS makes me sick and i am Canadian! but having served, loyally, faithfully and patriotically in my country's Forces for 10 years- AND having served on many US bases - arghghghgh!
ReplyDeletethe US soldiers that i served with were some of the most upstanding, patriotic souls who would give their lives in a second to defend their country and flag! every US base that i served on - i was befriended by some of the most wonderful people that i had ever met. i sing the praises of both Canadian and US soldiers every chance i get!
if i saw anyone do this to the American flag - i would rip their frickin faces off with my bare nails - don't even get me started on what i would do if i saw someone step on the Canadian flag!
i love my American brothers and Sisters and would never, EVER allow someone to do this to your beautiful flag! EVER!
geesh JUGM - now ya got me all irate and stuff. gonna go get some tea.

kymber
JB: First off WELCOME and Thanks for hitting the Follow button. And you are right... and the person who was the biggest supporter and gained the most from Wall Street was the current President of this country.
ReplyDeleteKYMBER: To see anyone walking over any flag from any country is an out rage. Having said that..I agree that American and Canadian forces are the most friendlist. I remember once when Canadian ships pulled in here...Gosh can those guys party....
