What was missing in Japan?
There was
An article in the US World Report regarding the orderly behavior of the
Japanese citizens and the absence of looting after the earthquake,
Tsunami and nuclear nightmare.
Social scientists were baffled by the total non-existence of
Looting and savage behavior in Japan considering the magnitude of this
Catastrophe. They conferred with human study organizations as well as sociology
Experts throughout the United States . Finally, after days and days of studies
And meetings, they came to a conclusion.

ReplyDeleteOh Lord Yes! pure nuts.. I remember all the news agencies there last year covering the story, and how shocked the anchors were at no looting or violence, I guess they had never seen people react in a calm manner in the face of destruction.

DeleteWe had a similar paradox in our neck of the woods when the town got tornadoed last May. People were pulling up in pick-up trucks to the hospital that got hit to evacuate people out of it before the tornado was finished with the other end of the town.
ReplyDeleteSince then the town has quietly filed our insurance and helped each-other rebuild. President Obama just announced that he's coming to the High School's graduation this year, wanna take any bets about him putting out his own arm patting himself on the back?

DeleteYeah last time he was in town was the Sunday after the tornado, which made getting home from church nearly impossible(after waiting a whole week to come to town).
DeleteAs is I have to wonder who might have difficulty getting to see loved ones graduate because of this.
